Privacy Policy

In short: your photos stay on your computer. We only keep what is needed for your Snapcull account — your name, email (or phone number) and your plan. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we are

Snapcull is a desktop app for photographers ("Snapcull", "we", "us"). You can reach us at snapcullai@gmail.com.

What we collect

Account details: your name or studio name, email address (or phone number if you sign in with your phone), and a securely hashed password if you use one. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
Plan details: which plan you are on (for example Free or Pro) and when it renews or ends.
Technical data needed to sign you in: sign-in times and the security tokens that keep you signed in.

What stays on your computer

Your photos, projects, culling decisions, AI analysis, edits and exports are stored only on your own computer. The AI features (face, eye, smile and sharpness checks, aesthetic scoring and spot removal) run on your device. Snapcull does not upload your photos to us. Error logs are saved on your computer and are only shared if you choose to send them to us.

Client galleries

When you share a gallery, Snapcull publishes it to your own Netlify account (or saves it on your computer). The photos in a gallery are visible to anyone who has its link. When your client sends their selection, it goes to your Netlify account and then into Snapcull; it contains the names they type, their favourites, star ratings and an optional note. You are responsible for sharing gallery links only with the right people and for taking galleries offline when you no longer need them.

How we use your information

To create your account, sign you in and keep you signed in.
To show and manage your plan.
To send you account emails, such as sign-up and password-reset codes.
To answer you when you contact us.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Services we use

Supabase stores your account and plan, in its Mumbai (India) region.
Google, if you choose "Continue with Google", and Gmail to send account emails.
Netlify hosts this website and, through your own Netlify account, your client galleries.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy and security practices.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your account and plan information, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.

Your choices and rights

You can change your name in Snapcull (Account). To get a copy of your account information, correct it, or delete your account, email snapcullai@gmail.com from the address on your account. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

Your sign-in session is stored encrypted on your computer, connections to our servers use HTTPS, and each account can only read its own account information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

Snapcull is made for professional photographers and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, let you know in the app or by email.
